There are several add-on options for the MPC2000, these are:-

The 8 individual outputs board/ digital I/O - IB M208P.

The SMPTE I/O board - IB M20T.

The Effect board - EB16.

The Flash ROM - FMX008M.

The MPC's internal memory can be expanded to 32megabytes using SIMMs, it comes with 2megabytes 'hardwired' and there are two slots in which you can install SIMMs chips.. SIMMs that operate at a speed of 70nanoseconds are recommended.
